Meet Your Hosts – Bjorn & Tanja

We are Bjorn and Tanja, and together with our two sons, Arthur and David, we moved from the Netherlands to Aruba in 2024. We fell in love with the island, its people and its relaxed way of life — and we are now proud to call Aruba our home.

We created Aruba Islander Residence because we wanted to offer guests more than just a place to sleep. We want you to feel comfortable, have the freedom to explore the island at your own pace, and experience Aruba like a local.

Personal service, local knowledge

Because we live right here on Aruba, we are always happy to share our favorite places, give you local tips and help you make the most of your stay. Whether you're looking for a great restaurant, a beautiful beach, a fun activity or the best way to explore the island, we're happy to help.

We can also assist with additional services before or during your stay, including:
